Ireland Visa

Visa is issued by Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform. Iris ministry has different visa policies for the citizens of different countries.

Visa is not required for the citizens of United States, Canada Mexico, or the European Union if they want to visit Ireland. Ireland Visa Information gives a list of those countries whose citizens do not require visa if they have passport:

Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Grenada, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Korea (Rep of South), Latvia, Lesotho, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malawi, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Nauru, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Swaziland, Sweden, Switzerland, Tonga, Trinidad & Tobago, U.S.A., UK & colonies, Uruguay, Vatican City, Venezuela, Western Samoa, Zimbabwe. .

There are some nations whose citizens must have to have Transit visa. A list of such nationals is given below:

A person must possess valid passport, round trip ticket and evidence of sufficient fund for the period of stay.

A student must possess evidence of registration from the relevant institution where he/she is about to do any course, evidence of full paid fee, and, of course evidence of medical insurance. People from Australia, Canada, Hong kong, New Zealand and Japan can avail Working Holiday Visa. The cost of visa for getting to Ireland is not very high. It is Single-Journey: 25 Euros, Multiple-Journey: 50 Euros and Transit: 10 Euros.
